Remedial Massage

Remedial Massage is aimed at correcting soft tissue injury and dysfunction. Soft tissue is made up of muscle tissue, tendons, ligaments, and fascia. Many things can contribute to dysfunction including overuse, poor posture, sporting injuries, motor vehicle injuries or just plain stress.  The aim of the therapy is to reduce pain and restore function where injury has resulted in loss of function. Many techniques may be used to achieve this, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy and PNF stretching.

Relaxation Massage

Relaxation massage is aimed at calming both your mind and body. Many people today lead busy and stressful lives, so a relaxation massage is a nurturing experience that will calm the nervous system and leave you feeling more peaceful.

Most often Swedish massage techniques are used for Relaxation massage, so the strokes are smooth, flowing and continuous.
